About the Founder – Kyla Lodwig, DVM
Hi! I’m Kyla Lodwig, the founder of OC Paws & Claws Pet Services. I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals, and I’m proud to bring over 15 years of experience in dog walking and pet sitting to the families of Orange County. My background also includes 9 years in the veterinary medicine field, and I hold a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM), so your pets are in the hands of someone who truly understands their health, behavior, and individual needs. At home, I’m lucky to share life with my Cane Corso, Nihilus (a gentle giant) and three sassy feline overlords: Toffee, Bundy, and Jeffrey. They keep things lively and remind me daily just how unique and special each pet’s personality can be. When I’m not caring for my amazing clients’ pets, I love staying active with Nihilus through hiking, running, or obedience training, hitting the gym, spending time with friends and family, or curling up on the couch with my cats for a good TV binge. With OC Paws & Claws, my goal is simple: to provide dependable, personalized, and professional care for your pets, just like I do for my own. I look forward to meeting your furry family!
